The Critical Studies in Education Graduate Certificate is a 15-credit post master's certificate that prepares academic scholars and practitioners to understand and problematize sociopolitical historical contexts of global education. The certificate coursework engages students in exploring how interconnected social systems contribute to education's roles, outcomes, and processes. Critical theories as to how education has been shaped and continues to be shaped are explored to facilitate the development of tools to craft novel solutions to persistent problems. Courses are at the doctoral level.
