This minor provides undergraduate students with background knowledge in teaching students with visual impairments. Completing this minor partially fulfills the requirements for Virginia’s initial teaching licensure in special education—blindness and visual impairments PK-12.
At least eight credits must be unique to this minor and may not be used to fulfill requirements of the student's major, concentration, an undergraduate certificate, or another minor.
