The minor in Chinese studies offers students the opportunity to study one of the rapidly developing ancient cultures of the world. The emphasis is on developing strong language skills: oral communication and the reading of texts.

Policies

Eight credits of coursework must be unique to the minor. Students must complete 18 credits at the 300-level or above with a minimum grade of 2.00 in each course. For policies governing all minors, see AP.5.3.4 Minors.
