Students pursuing the Environmental Science Minor will identify and study the interactions between organic and inorganic elements in a wide variety of ecosystems. This insight will provide students with a broad overview of the workings of the natural world and develop an increased awareness of major environmental issues effecting modern society.

The minor complements majors in natural science but is also suitable for non-science majors. This minor is not intended to be taken in conjunction with majors that focus on environmental science, including the Geology, BS (concentration in Environmental Geoscience) or the Environmental Science, BS.

Policies

Eight credits of coursework must be unique to the minor and students must complete all coursework with a minimum GPA of 2.00. For policies governing all minors, see AP.5.3.4 Minors.

For policies governing all undergraduate programs, see AP.5 Undergraduate Policies.
