The minor in public health offers students the opportunity to study concepts and principles related to health promotion, and disease and injury prevention. Students will gain a basic understanding of each of the foundational areas of public health, introduces students to career opportunities in the fields of global and community health, and prepares students for admission to graduate programs in public health.
Policies
Eight credits of coursework must be unique to the minor and students must complete all coursework with a minimum GPA of 2.00. For policies governing all minors, see AP.5.3.4 Minors.
