The Medical Practice Management (MPM) Undergraduate Certificate is designed to meet the needs of health care professionals who are currently or interested in serving in an administrative position in the field of medical group practice.The Certificate will provide the learner the necessary day-to-day tools to make them a successful contributor to the practice.These tools can be applied in various practice settings including physician and dentist offices, and freestanding urgent care, mental health and other ancillary services such as surgical and physical therapy.The MPM Undergraduate Certificate is offered entirely online.

Admissions

The Medical Practice Management Undergraduate Certificate is open to students with or without a bachelor’s degree. It is desirable that applicants have some experience working in a health care setting.  Applicants with no previously attempted post-secondary work must follow the Freshman Requirements in the Undergraduate Admission Policies. In addition, all applicants with or without a bachelor’s degree are required to submit the following:

  1. Resume
  2. Personal Statement
  3. TOEFL or IELTS exam scores (for non-native English speakers)

Upon admission, all students must attain a minimum grade of C in all coursework. 

Policies

Students will have four years to complete the Certificate and should be familiar with the university-wide requirements AP.5.3.5 Undergraduate Certificates.
