The Health Promotion minor introduces students to the professional activity of specialists within the health promotion field. Coursework involves theory, practical application, and selective coursework to increase health science knowledge and to explore current issues in health promotion. The minor complements majors in Kinesiology, Community Health, Integrative Studies, Communication, and other programs.
This minor is available to all Mason undergraduate students.
Policies
Eight credits of coursework must be unique to the minor and students must complete all coursework with a minimum GPA of 2.00. For policies governing all minors, see AP.5.3.4 Minors.
