This graduate certificate program will provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills central to each of the traditional five core areas of public health:
- social and behavioral health
- environmental health
- health systems
This graduate certificate may be pursued on a full or part-time basis.
Completing the Public Health Graduate Certificate with a "B" or better in each course will satisfy the GRE requirement for students interested in applying to the MPH program.
Applicants must meet the admission standards and application requirements specified in Graduate Admissions and must apply using the online Schools of Public Health Application System (SOPHAS). To be eligible for admission to this certificate program, applicants must have two years of full-time work experience and currently be working in a health-related field.
